The Electric Corduroy
Ryan McAlpin and the Good Cahoots is a Coos Co., Oregon based collective, fronted by the ever-me, Ryan M. 'Welcome to Hollow Town' is our first release, at the price of 9 low-fi songs. Brian V helped arrange and record these songs. Meg T on violin. Nelson R on piano. Send me money.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Hi there. I started writing folk songs in the summer of '04, by winter I realized I had nine songs. I got my friend Brian to help me arrange and record the songs in the summer of '05. I've played many shows and sold a few cd's since then. I'm now 20 and have recorded some more since then. I'm currently recording new stuff when I get the chance.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I do on occasion. I haven't persued any shows lately, but am open to playing if asked. I like, LIKE like playing shows, tehe.
