the Durty SOX
The Durty Sox is a Waterloo punk band that is centered around fast and changing tempo's, crunchy guitar riffs and messed up vocals.
"I think you need a beer!"
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Here is the story of the durty sox. George and I (Mike) always played punk rock together on our guitars when we were in a shit band 24 Flasks that I never want to think about again. So, we got rid of our bass player and drummer and totally reformed the band. Now I, Mike, was the bass player, and our new addition to the band was a sweet drummer Pat Meager which we knew from school. From there, we gathered our own material together and kept on jamming together. We have been together for about a year now, and we are about to release a cd "Is This How We Were Made To Live?" We are getting better everytime we practice, but are still far away from our peak! Come see us any time you get a chance.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play live in Kitchener, guelph, and cambridge quite a bit and will play anywhere, anytime! (Let us know if you want us to book you for your next dinner party!)
