Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The Duo Trio began in 2004 when Mickey and Joe, having played together in a previous band, got together, knocked the dust off some of their older tunes and began writing new ones. In December of 2004, we met Rich, a funkified bassist with similar eclectic tastes and open-mindedness. We started playing live shows together in the Spring of 2005 and have been doing a few shows a month since the Summer. Our goal right now is to write more new music and get it recorded. We're also working to break into more local clubs.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, we try to play live a few times a month in KC and the surrounding college towns.
