The Drop Squad
Known for their first class hooks and versatility, Drop Squad continues to be a force to be reckoned with. Madoa the MC with an eclectic feel for music is marked by his stunning delivery, versatility, flow, lyrics, emotion, and his unbelievable capacity for knowledge. Botti, the soft spoken Baltimore marauder, is to simply put it, a LYRICAL GENIUS. His ablity to put words together is reminiscent of Nas in his hey day, Botti is also a veteran of numerous battles in which his adversaries upon losing the battle(OF COURSE) subsequently became some of his most loyal fans. Botti possesses an unbeliveable ability to paint pictures in his rhymes, a feat that leaves the audiece mesmirized as if they acted out the lyrics themselves. Drop Squad's main goal is to bring quality Hip-Hop to those people who are patiently waiting for the music to return to its essence. Hip-Hop is a contuization of Black expression in the Americas, and joins the long list of other art forms created by those great people, i.e. Jazz, Blues, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Rock and Roll, Samba, Rumba and Salsa. Hip-Hop has become a global phenomenom and continues to cross over racial, ethnic and religious boundaries like no other art form. With that said Hip-Hop must be protected and kept pure, so people world wide can get a since of what true Hip-Hop is, which is so much more than what seems to be offered today. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Madoa and Botti are the two gifted MCs (NOT RAPPERS) that form the union populary known as the Drop Squad. The two artist met in 2001 while serving in the U.S. Army, where they soon realized that they shared a common passion and decided to coalesce.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We attend all of the open mic clubs in fayetteville on a weekly basis, most notably; Club Glow, Palace, and Underground Live

Little Brother, the OLD Mobb Deep lol, Nas, AZ, Jay-Z, Biggie, LOX, Tupac, Ransom, Common, Kanye West, and all the real MC's who do Hip-Hop. Not Rappers, MCs
What equipment do you use?
GXL2200 gold condenser mic, 4 track Tapco mixer, Magix. Pro-tools coming next week YEEEEEEEEEEEEES.
