The Draft
The Draft is a rock band from Connecticut that formed in 2002. They carry a wealth of influences and show great diversity within their music. The music of The Draft is a blend of rock, punk, ska, and blues for the most part. The band is currently working on a 5-song EP (yet to be titled) and will begin working on their debut full-length album in winter 2004.Have you performed in front of an audience?We live to play live. We play shows whenever and wherever we can. Right now, we are mainly playing gigs around Connecticut but we are looking to play elsewhere to expand our fan base and get our music out there. We love playing live and always try to put on a great show.
Your musical influences
We are influenced by the genres of Rock n' roll, Punk rock, Ska, Alternative, and Blues. Just a few of the bands that have influenced our music are NOFX, Led Zeppelin, Rancid, Jimi Hendrix, Bad Religion, ZZ Top, and The Bouncing Souls.What equipment do you use?
Currently Using: Crate Amps, Gretsch Drums, Zildjian Cymbals, Epiphone Les Paul Custom and Explorer guitars, Squier Standard P-Bass, Yamaha Keyboard, Yamaha mixer (PA), Peavey speakers (PA), Shure Mics (SM-57s for guitar & bass, 55SH Series II for lead vocals).All comments (1)
