WELCOME to The Doctor Project...Sit down, have a listen. Everything you hear is ONE person, yes The Doctor does every instrument and every vocal. So soak up some sounds and leave me a hello!!!!! This is the ONLY spot to hear the ENTIRE Planet Earth : Elements CD! PLANET EARTH : ELEMENTS is a cd like no other....Reminiscent of the great Satriani/Vai instrumental masterpieces, PE:E is one of the most innovative and powerful cd's ever made. The Doctor uses his extraordinary interpretive skills to put the planet and it's elements into musical form, and does so with surgical precision and mastery. The songs on the page here are proof that The Doctor is about to stand in his place next to the great instrumentalists of all time, and is IN FACT the most versatile musician in the world.
Band/artist history
The Doctor began his pro music career in the Aurora, Illinois based band Triangle, which featured The Doctor on Bass and Vocals, John Heyl on Drums and vocals, and Greg Cisko on guitar. Cisko eventually parted ways and he was replaced by Adrian Marshall Neuendorf. After Triangle, The Doctor moved on to be the Lead Vocalist in the Aurora band Prophecy which featured Mike Hetzinger on guitar, Ed Pryor on bass, and Scott Knopp on drums. Eventually Knopp and Hetzinger had their differences and Hetzinger moved to Los Angeles. The Doctor then took some time off, after which he was contacted about joining the band Blacklyst with former Triangle guitarist Neuendorf and Prophecy drummer Knopp. The band also featured Richard Wijs on vocals and Jimi Angel on guitar. The Doctor brought his backing vocal and bass ability to Blacklyst and the band started rolling. After many problems with Knopp he was finally let go as drummer and replaced with former Amulence drummer Eric Wedow. Also, Neuendorf wanted a change and created the band Intoxicated Madness with his brother and went to that project, and Bob Luman was brought on board to create the well known Blacklyst Lineup responsible for recording their classic "Liars, Killers, and Master Thieves" album. Eventually over the years, Blacklyst was offered a record deal with Iron Glory Records from Germany and they signed the deal, dropping vocalist Wijs in the process and bringing Neuendorf back along with new drummer Joe Towne. Then in 2004 The Doctor decided after years of playing with Blacklyst and feeling a need to do something different, he decided to try going solo. He then began writing and recording new music for a solo project, The Doctor Project, in which he played every instrument and did every vocal on the recordings so as to be assured that what he put down on recording is EXACTLY what he heard in his head, and the audience got a chance to hear music that was truly all his own. The Doctor also put together a live backup band who is now gearing up for a big push into the live scene after making a small appearance at the 2006 XMG Music Conference as a teaser. Now into 2007, The Doctor is preparing to finally release his music worldwide as well as begin a huge schedule of live shows. Much more is on the horizon for The Doctor.
