The Distance are a new five piece based in North London. Wearing influences on their sleeve from Supergrass to the Magic Numbers, recent low key gigs outside the capital testify to the fact that their freshly prepared sonic stew is just coming to the boil. Recently featured (23.8.05) as one to watch by industry tipster Record Of The Day, the band are currently gearing themselves up for the release of their debut EP 'Stand Alone'.
