The Devil's Angel was formed in late '98 early '99, originally a one man band concieved and birthed by Walter Scott Thompson.
Since the formation of the band in '98 - '99 it has had several characters/members and they are as follows:
Members ( Old and New ) :
Walter Thompson A.K.A Rage : ( formed The Devil's Angel in '98 and still going ) - Keyboards, Prgarmming, Mastering, Mixing, Main Vocals, Main Writing,
Web Design, Demo Cd Design. The spine of The Devil's Angel.
Shawn Bosserman A.K.A SickBoy : ( Joined in '99 ) - Bass, Guitars, Backing Vocals, Some Writings.
Mike Vogtman : ( Joined in '00-'01 ) - Guitars, Some Writing.
Shannon Rambo A.K.A Pie : ( Joined in '01-'02 ) - Bass, Some Vocals, Some Writing.
Tim Bonner ( Joined in '02 ) Drum Machine, Samples, Programming.
The music is created as an outlet for Walter ( Rage ).
It was a way for him to release the feelings inside that were kept bottled up.
Feelings about his life, parents ( real and adopted ), GOD, relationships, friends, enemies, depression and all that stuff that makes the world go 'round
and the heart beat harder. It was and still is a way for him to speak his mind artistically and personally.
Some of the songs are very personal and heartfelt, while others are just ......well just songs.
The Devil's Angel has been played on 98 Rock's NOISE IN THE BASEMENT, and have also been played at Club Taboo ( Club Orpheus ).
The cover of "Closer" is currently getting consistent roatation at Club Orpheus and was also debuted at the Vampire Ball in PA.
About 2 years ago, Rage introduced James (Vengenci) into the band as the main guitarist. Then one year later Jeff ( Zero ) joined.
Then a year later Vaughn on bass and Bill on yet another guitar joined.
TDA is hard at work on the Secrets LP, which was set to be released in August, but due to some health issues among members in the band it has been set
back and is set to be released sometime in late Jan. early March of 2010.

Have you performed in front of an audience?
Sometime in the near future. When I hear more I will post more.
Currently working on forming a live band now hopefully it will go well unlike previous attempts.
Your musical influences
I have many influences, but the biggest ones would have to be : Nine Inch Nails, Korn, :wumpscut:, Rob Zombie, And One, and Nitzer Ebb
What equipment do you use?
Dell Computer 2400 ( customized ), Magix Music Maker Soundpools 1 and up, Magix Music Maker 2004, Magix Music Maker Deluxe 2005 with Robota Drum Machine, Reason 2.5, Acid Loops, Fruity Loops, Techno EJay, Dynamic Microphone, My vocals, and stuff, Bass, Guitar.
And I dont know what the guitarists and bassists play instrument wise.
Anything else?
I have been played on 98 Rock's NOISE IN THE BASEMENT several times with some good reviews, I have had several write ups all good in College papers. I just recently finished the 5th demo titled " Dark Pop "
Working on another demo right now. Titled " Secret's " and its had some setbacks, all the members of the live band are going to be on it, so we're in the middle of recording it and rehearsing, very vigorous schedule.
dude your voice sounds like violent j from i.c.p just not rapping.not that that is a bad thing you guys are f***ing Awesome!!!!
very nice.Us dark pop artist gots ta stick ta together so make sure you holla at me
I just had to come by and listen to 'Wish (Featuring Rob of ANGEL FALLEN)' well because I saw the name on the charts and thought it was cool that there is a band called Angel Fallen out there as I used to play drums in a band called Fallen Angel many many years ago. I'm really liking this song too. Very cool beat and the lyrics are superb. I added it to my station and I'll take a listen to some more of your songs on my way out.
Keep up the great work!

"With this music I ( Walter ) hope to let others like minded know what I went through in my life...." So what did you go through? I may not be "like minded" but I'd still like to know.
