the Cyber Sporks
We are the Cyber Sporks. We consist of Steve Sparkleworks and Sergeant K. We both have experience with instruments, but typically when we're making the music that we like for you to hear we completely disregard all formal training. Now, about the music, what you are truly interested in. It's odd. That' really all I can say about it is that it's odd, but awesome. We use most every instrument we can get our hands on, whether we can play it or not.
Band/artist history
We formed at the end of '06 one fine Winter evening when the snow was on the ground, but their wasn't actually snow on the ground and most people were still in shorts because of global warming. Anyway, it basically just came about with me saying, "Let's make a band," and K. replying, "'kay." There wasn't much more to it, other than find a guitar.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We do play live, but that usually consists of going to some neighborhood, chosen entirely at random, and walking around it well playing our music (or what we can play with what we have at the time).
Your musical influences
Well... we watch a lot of television, mostly anime. We also do a lot of video games, mostly Nintendo based. As for bands that we either sound like or draw influence from... I'm really not sure, but we do have some minor similarities with the Left Rights.
What equipment do you use?
We use a guitar with only three string, anymore and that bitch is really hard to play! We also use a (any instrument past this point is not partially destroyed) baby's xylophone, a harmonica, a piano, a keyboard, spoons, recorders, a violin, and pots pans and other things that go "clang!" for drums. We haven't actually invested much (any) money into the band, but we do have access to several other instruments.
Anything else?
We're trying to work towards an album which we're going to title "Pony Apocalypse." The reason for this title is ponies are awesome, and therefore deserve to die.
