I've gotta a lot of history...some good, some bad. I'm pretty sure there's a shitload of people who do as well.

Hip hop instrumentals, Experimental with Breaks, Jazz, Classical, and many other different types of music.
What equipment do you use?
I use Fruity Loops 5 Producer Edition (90% of my use), Cool Edit Pro, some Cubase, and my brain.
Anything else?
I'm doing this shit for the love of it. Money's nice, but the way this shit effects everyday life is worth so much more.
