The Commoner's Flaw
A sweet post-hardcore/screamo sound that verges on butt-rock. With blazing guitar solos, screaming lyrics, and wicked bass and drums The Commoner's Flaw leaves nothing on the table to rot. Only being a band for a short time hasn't stopped the group from rocking all around Colorado.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Alright, here's what went down. Four kids from Fort Collins, Colorado knew each other. They all played a respective instument and were proficient at it. One of the four left for the Army, another left for home in Denver, and the other two did not know what to do. Well, to make a short story shorterer, the Army bound one got sent home and the other moved back to the Fort for school. They combined powers once again and a sweet, need-to-change-your-pants sound started to emerge. Nine or so songs in, the group realized there was something missing. Oh yeah, a bass player. A new quest was born. Luckily enough, at a party no less, the bass player was found and embraced into the group. With a new demo, the band was armed and ready to play as many shows as they could find. And this is where we are today my friends. These 5 guys are Zach - Lead Vocals/Cougar Killer, Jordan - Guitar, Garrett - Guitar, Devin - Bass, and Matt - Drums. Otherwise known as The Commoner's Flaw.
