The Chorizo Brothers
This band is generated by one good ole southern boy who is a songwriter and singer/musician playing many different instruments.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started out being exposed to music at a very young age. My father owned a night club in Greensboro, NC in the early 60's. I would get to watch the bands rehearse and they would let me beat on the drums and piano some. I was 8 years old. I then learned drums while in high school and actually got to sit in with Alabama when they were a bar band in Myrtle Beach SC. I went on to learn guitar, banjo, mandolin and fiddle. I write all types of songs from gospel to blues.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play live at open mike nights in and around Birmingham Alabama.
Your musical influences
My musical influences are the Sun artist, 70's rock bands as well as old country such as Willie and Waylon. Also, I love blues so you will be hearing alot of that as well!
What equipment do you use?
I use various acoustic and electric instruments as well as my own recording equipment.
Anything else?
