We have been playing punk rock and blues for years, and this folk project just came naturally for us. Growing up on Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson, Robert Johnson and Muddy Waters, and with influences like The Pogues and Flogging Molly, our song writing began to turn toward all of these influences. Our songs truely incorporate elements of Blues, British Isles folk, Bluegrass and old outlaw country - all things folk.
We were fortunate to have the lovely and talented Allison Dunn come aboard to do vocal work for us on some tracks.Band/artist history
Shipwrecked a couple centuries too late to live the pirate's life, but we've come pretty damn close in this day and age. However, we arrived just in time to be influenced by all of the great folk music from those lost centuries. The sailors and whalers, drunken Irishmen, Appalachian mountain folk, dirty delta blues masters and traditional country boys. And that's what we are: a group of friendly outlaws, outsiders and undesirables who have put together a few songs spanning our musical influences. Find a friendly shadow, sit down with your favorite whiskey and take a listen to these songs of broken bottles, broken hearts and broken lives. There is soul that will give you chills, sing-alongs that will have you stomping and ballads that will put a tear in your beer. Cheers!Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes. Coffe shops, cigar bars and just about anywhere people might want to listen. We love playing live.
