The Blueprints
The Blueprints
Blues music from the great white north. Three guys with three very different backgrounds just having a ball playing some electric blues.
Most of our repertoire up until very recently has been our interpretations of some blues classics and some obscure newer stuff along with a few bluesed up R&B and rock toons. We are now starting to write our own songs and making them a permanent part of our live show.
We are headed into the studio to record our first release in October 2005.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The Blueprints have been together since 1998 based out of Charlottetown, PEI, Canada, playing the blues with an electric edge. The current members are: Roger Greaves on drums and vocals, Mike Robicheau on guitar and vocals, and Chris Roumbanis on bass and vocals.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
at Fishbones Bar & Grill on Richmond St in the heart of old Charlottetown every Sunday evening all summer (9:30ish to close). It has become "the Unofficial Sunday Night Blues Jam" We open the 2nd set up to any blues players in the crowd who want to sit in and so far we have had people from as far away as Australia, England, South Carolina, and all regions of Canada.
Your musical influences
Very early on we were all influenced by British blues.
Anything else?
The songs posted here are from a project we never released a couple of years ago.
