The Blend
"The Blend" is a Reggae Punk/Funk Rock Band from the Boston Area (Walpole). We are a 3-piece band. We were a band for only 3 months before our "break" but had made great progress. We've gotten back together recently and plan to stay together so check us out. Beer and food are always the greatest medicine, especially for The Blend. They love to eat at "The Good Food Store". Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
It all started when Mike Serra and Brian Kirby started jammin on guitar doin simple rock covers back in 2000. As time went on they started jammin' more frequently. Then one day they bought a 4-Track and recorded some original songs they had written with Mike on Guitar and Drums and Brian on Bass. Then they hooked up with Tyler Saraca at a jam session one day and he became their drummer. Ever since then they've been partying, rocking out, writing songs, and recording
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We love playing shows. We play at The Lucky Dog Music Hall in Worcester, PA's Lounge, The Framingham Civic League, and local Amercian Legion/V.F.W.'s.
