The Beat Factory Productions

This is the Beat Factory, producing some of the hottest beats in Texas. Joints produced by us get radio play in major metropolitan areas (Dallas/Ft Worth, San Antonio, etc.) around the Lone-Star State. We are highly skilled to have only been making beats for a little more than two years. We have two branches, one located in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and the other located in Houston. If you wanna holla at us about a project, hit us up at 210-279-9794 (Houston) or 817-939-0124 (Dallas/Ft. Worth)
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The Beat Factory consists of two producers: Jeremy "J-don" Brown of Frozen Click, and Marcus Brown of Divine Soulz Productions. The Beat Factory was originated on November 18th, 2001. Marcus purchased a CD burner and Magix Music Maker. He made a few beats and took them to his High School for people to hear. Not long after that, Jeremy (Marcus's cousin) began making beats of his own. The two kept in close touch as their beats became more complex. It wasn't long before the duo began to get noticed on the hip-hop-scene. Marcus signed on as a producer for "Divine Soulz Productions" and Jeremy began rapping and producing for the "Frozen Click". The two later decided to pool their resources and make beats for their respective clients as a duo to be known as "The Beat Factory".
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Well, we just make the beats, but J-Don is a really hard rapper. He performed live at a Delta Sigma Theta conference. Basically, he's written/produced/performed what's slated to be the official Delta Sigma Theta Sorority rap joint.
Your musical influences
Timbaland and the Neptunes fa 'sho. Also gotta give a shout out to the legends of the game: Johann Sebastian Bach and Wolfgang Amadaeus Mozart. As far as rap goes, Jay-Z is krunk, but we can't forget about Mos Def, Chamillionare and all the other real, gutta mc's.
What equipment do you use?
Any major computer production and recording software you culd think of... (Samplitude, Sonar, Fruityloops, Logic, Cubase, Acid, etc.) Just can't wait to get our hands on a Triton or Motiff workstation...
Anything else?

Divine Soulz, respect dat. Also, gotta give mad props to Mok and Bob, y'all cats are some ill producers. It's an honor to be able to co-produce and compete with y'all. It's always fun trying to make a beat that is as good as what you guys make on a regular basis. Also, mad props to Reborn, thanks for taking me into the DS fam dawg.
