Theater of the Absurd

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
back in late 2000/early 2001, Joel and Dennis got together and wrote a song called "Black Silhouettes on sonogram screens." They both liked the direction it had gone and kept on writing. Meanwhile Dennis and Steve Ellsworth had also written a song called "The best song in the world." We soon realized we had a strong style and worked well together, and wrote some more songs. We formed a band with some close friends and were soon asked to play the Canyon Club by a local band. This was extremely exciting cause this was big time for us. after that we played some house party's, came out with our own CD titled "Waiting Room Nursury Rhymes." covered "Ice Age" on a Joy Division/New Order Compilation CD, and then everyone kind of mysteriously went in different directions. 2 years later Joel and Dennis were back at it again doing what they like best, writing music. But this time we decided to take it slow and work harder on the quality of our sound. now we are close to being done with our new CD, (not titled yet) which features 12 new songs from Theatre of the absurd. You can listen to most of these songs here on this site.
