Amid the waves of electronic-based music and the acoustic cries of a sound-seeking generation, The Alpha Rhythm plays with a pressure that fuses both worlds together in an organic-electronic explosion. The group, formed in Austin, TX in 2002, is the result of the combination of six members, all with diverse musical backgrounds and desires to integrate traditional instrumentation with the latest in electronic music technologies.

Instrumentation includes Electric Upright Bass, Cello, Sarod, Sitar, Flute, Electric and Acoustic Guitar, Rhodes, Synths, Samplers, Jazz Percussion, and various effects processors and electronic drum kits.

Hey guys, Put up some more music! I like the tune you've got up here. You might call it a different music category though. If you listen to the other "electronic" music on soundclick, you don't really fit that mold. I think you are closer to one of the jazz categories. I saw you guys play once with Echo Base years ago, and liked the show. Peace, Dan
