The ALB
Chicago's own TheALB
listen to the music, get me to #1 and i'll tell you what A.L.B stands for
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Well i was a bassist for a long time, about 2 years ago i decided to turn my time and effort into learning the guitar.. I have played shows with bands before, but i never felt comfortable being in the background, being back up... I got my first cafe show as a solo artist on July 22nd, 2001. Since then i've played 20-25 shows and have been having a blast. Im getting ready to finish a full length and get started on a LP or full length with my band "Thrift Store Heroes".. Hey check us out too someday!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yeah i've played a few cafe's, Ice Arena's, parties... Of course i love it... I think the whole reason i stay motivated when it comes to my music, is playing sets
Special Moments, there was one time when a girl came up to me after i played with tears in her eyes and said i was amazing... That was beautiful
Your musical influences
Dashboard Confessional, Lance and the bo boys, Drew Neeley a.k.a Wally Mission, Fly Honeys, Down In Front, Mike Molaro, triplefastaction/Wes Kidd... If i get started i'll be going off forever so we'll leave it at mostly local :P
What equipment do you use?
I have my cherry red fender acoustic/eletric and whatever microphone is around at the time
