The Acousmatizer
The Acousmatizer. Music but not as we know it. The Acousmatizer started producing a combination of glitched up electronica/mashup/weirdness late 2006 after collaborating through their Creative music tech degree at Bath Spa Uni. After a couple of sessions playing with mapping drums to an xbox controller, beat splicing madness on Ableton and synth building in Reaktor, they decided that it was high time they both started a serious musical venture for the first time in too long and went into programming together full time. Since then the duo have compiled the basics to their first E.P. with new tracks being created all the time. Getting deeper into the Max/MSP software domain, The Acousmatizer have been making new toys designed purely for audio molestation. The Acousmatizer have been busy little boys over the last couple of months, playing in Bristol at the UK's first team Laptop Battle, and joining the underground dance music label 1manarmy Records, with a release on the next compilation, so keep em peeled and support The Acousmatizer, they need your dollar for more projects.Have you performed in front of an audience?yes we do, why not book us for gigs right now we are always up for it
