The Absent Tills
The band was formed in about 1990 and was together for about 20 years, had got through over thirty members but just wouldn't die! We played because we loved it!
The songs posted here were recorded nearly 30 years ago when we were just newly formed! But I reckon they still stand up!

We all come from different walks of life but are united by a love for music and gigging !
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We only come alive live !... Gigging is the best part of a band... all our gigs are special moments!!!
Your musical influences
Dr. Feelgood, Harmonica driven Rhythm & Blues, Weird noises, Wilco Johnson, choppy guitars, Miles Davis, Wes Montgomery, Stravinsky, John Martyn, Prokofiev (But not necessarily all in this order !). These are my influences, not neccessarily the rest of the bands !

Gibson SG Special, Fender Squier (vintage modified) Stratocaster, Vintage V62 Icon Telecaster, Epiphone Sorento (semi-acoustic), B+M classical guitar, Warwick Streamer Rock Bass, Stagg 3/4 upright electric double bass, into laptop with Guitar Rig 5/Ampeg SVX software into Rotovibe + Boss Super Chorus CH-1 chorus + Boss "Bluesbreaker" + Electro Harmonix Nano "Big Muff" + "Cry Baby" + Boss DD2 digital delay + Morley volume pedal into Mesa Boogie Mark 3 1x12 Combo. Backup Combo Fender Frontman 1x12. Bass combo Ashdown AAA-120-15T + Ashdown 1 x 15 Extension Cabinet.
