Make Me Sick Make Me Sick
Make Me Sick is a hardcore punk song, with a sick twisted sense of humor!
The Abortion Squad is a hardcore punk band from Manchester, NH. We have been around in one form or another since 1982. Now re-united with original members Pat on guitar and vocals, Joe on bass and vocals, along with new drummer, Mike. We have released some of our original 1983 recordings as well as sorted songs through-out the 90's on http://betarecords.com/abortion.squad. look for us on www.unitedpunk.com and request our songs on www.mohawkradio.comBand/artist history
Band history can be found on this link. http://www.betarecords.com/abortion.squadHave you performed in front of an audience? We have played many shows throughout the early 80' and through the 90's from Boston to Portland ME, and in several locations throughout our home state of NH. We love the exitement of every gig we've played, whether it is a crowd of 15 or 500. Our favorite moments were playing in Boston at the height of the hardcore scene in the early 80's, and our hometown gig in April of 1984 opening up for G.B.H.
Your musical influences
Our main influences are rooted in the late 1970's punk bands like the Ramones, Dead Boys, Sex Pistols, The Clash, as well as the early 80's punk bands ranging from the Exploited, to Bad Religion, from the Circle Jerks and Black Flag to Minor Threat and SS Decontrol, all punk and hardcore bands past and present. What equipment do you use?
I use an array of Les Pauls and on occassion a stratocaster. The drum kit is a mix of brands. Our bass player uses some fancy name i can't even pronounce!!!!!!!!!!!Anything else?
Special thanx go out to: Jon Roberge, our first drummer, Matty Krochmal, our long-time drummer, Pete Saba for filling in on bass in the 90's.
