theRocker
I started playing acoustic guitar in the seventies but after a few years learning country blues picking my instrest changed due to other commitments like studies and others. Some twenty years later I picked up the guitar again to start where I had left.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Something more than 10 years ago I came by an out-of-date recording software (Cakewalk Express 5) wich was so easy to use that I thought I can take up my old acoustic guitar and return to my former hobby playing fingerstyle and recording it. I am not very talented and had to learn everything by practicing a lot as spare time allow. I first started studying the guitar by watching a TV broadcast by John Pearse whom I happend to meet personally before his death at the Frankfurt Musik Messe (one of the largest music exhibitions in the world).
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not very often, but when an opportunity arrives I play live. As I am a bass player in a blues band (Windy City) I often perform live with these guys.
