The 3dbs
We are a couple of "mature" rock wannabees working in a college (no names, but Brian May studied here) in central London, comprising Danny (talent), and Paul (ballast), plus the occasional student and or staff member who wants to get it on. Working out of a disused basement in the college , known internally as Shabbey Road, at lunch times.

Chris Rea, The Animals, Knopfler, Brian Johnson, Grizzling Gazza. Now the North-East has spewed out a new hero. We are proud to announce that our ranks have been swelled by the Silver Mongoose himself, Neil. A classically trained baritone, Neil is a veteran of the Jarrow Crusade, and brings to the band his gravelly tone, natural pitch and represents a shift in musical direction for the rest of the band, when we weren't really expecting one.
We are not worthy, Bonnie Lad.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
As children of the 70's, we both seem to have overlapping stories. Dan, from t'gritty north of England, Paul from the opulent, but no less gritty, Sarf of England, it was guitars from start. Dan more into classic rock, Paul the same, but also heavily influenced by the summer of punk in '76.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Only the one gig so far, but who knows, in the future
Your musical influences
Both are huge fans of Zep AC/DC etc, but Paul is more into the stripped back guitar of original punk rock. Neils taste in music is anything old and crusty, like his pies.
What equipment do you use?
Les Pauls and Marshalls, what else? Oh yes, a roll of carpet and some heavy duty pitch correction - gravelly tones don't come cheap, y'know
