Band/artist history
Tha Grain has 3 members, Foyi, Drego & Jo'At along with the Missing Link who lives by his name. Foyi and Drego are brothers and Jo'At is a distant cousin and has been a close friend since childhood. They formed the group in 2000 at Hillsbourgh High School in Tampa, Florida. Since then they have created a local buzz in the Tampa Bay area and throughout parts of Florida. Not your average rappers in the game today, filled with mind blowing raw talent and heavy-hitting lyrics. Tha Grain's vision is to bring quality, creative and content filled music to as many people possible.
Your musical influences
Our influences stem from Outkast, Bone Thugs n Harmony, Korn, Nas, Wu-Tang, Eminem, 2pac, Biggie, Jay-Z, The Dungeon Family and Nirvana to just name a few; literally the list never ends. I feel you can't knock what inspires you thats why its inspirational cause it influences you. To be honest we feel them both equally, guitars or motown all i can say is expect the unexpected from us lol
