yo whats good we're tha Foundation, a group of four monsters in the rap game hailing from Salem, New Jersey we are Big Jerz(25), Skeez(24), Yung Cardi(20) and the illest producer Optimus Prime(26). We currently dropped an album titled Skeez and Big Jerz "Welcome to New Jersey" which sold 500 copies the first 3 weeks not bad for independant artist w/ no manager, and at the present time working on the next Skeez and Big Jerz album (untitled). Also soon to drop Yung Cardi w/ his album "For the Streets". If our names sound familiar you may recognize us from being w/ Chedda Hill Records w/ Ali Starr and Sillawet, which the two of them are still with CHR, the four of us decided to go off and do our own thing and formed the Foundation. Last but not least Optimus Prime, he is currently working w/ up and coming Universal Records and Def Squad artist Sy Scott, his forth coming debut album "Sy-chotic" will drop in January 2005. OP blessed this stellar artist w/ some of his best production which they will soon be recording for Sys' secord album. Prior Albums, "Tales of a Starr" artist Ali Starr produced by Optimus Prime.
"Army of One" artist Big Jerz, Skeez, Ali Starr, Yung Cardi and Sillawet produced by Optimus Prime.
"Alimanoti" artist Ali Starr produced by Optimus Prime/Big Majik.
"Welcome to New Jersey" artist Big Jerz and Skeez produced by Optimus Prime/Big Majik.
All Albums are official full length albums.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes we play live and love it. There was a special time when we opened up for Sean Paul. We will play anywhere, anytime.
Your musical influences
our influences are Big Pun, Fat Joe, Eminem, Jay Z, Nas and on the production side Alchemist, Jus Blaze and Neptunes just to name a few. We look up to them but don't try to copy their style, just because their hot doesn't mean you'll be hot if you sound like them, be original, if you got what it takes pretty soon people will try to copy you.

Optimus Prime uses AKAI MPC2000xl, Yamaha Motif6 and Korg D1200.
