Born on Good Friday. April 17th 1987, a boy wid an amazing gift to expose real music to tha world was born. Upbrung by his parents in a half a house in Billerica, MA where he held his ground for 16 years. The only friends he had when he was younger were girls. He began to understand girls more than Mel Gibson in What Women Want. As the years went by, he grew older. Learning to read and pronounce big words and structured sentences when he was in 1st grade. Didnt have many friends, mostly kept to himself. Little did he or anyone know that this shy boy would turn into a talented MC. He was mostly a troublemaker. Getting into fights, almost got expelled for trying to gut some kid in tha 4th grade. Moved onto Junior High. Many detentions, many fights again. Just alwayz being the troublemaking adolescent. One day he begins to brainstorm about being in some type of singing group. Much thunder erupted but yet still no lightning bolt. A couple years pass, until one day in September of 2000, he finds himself bored out of his mind at his friends house. While his friend is on the phone, this young boy unaware of this secret talent that he had, begins to type down rhyme after rhyme until he fills the whole entire page. Showing people and asking what they thought, he got nothing but positive comments. This made him write more. Day after Day, Page after Page. However, a few years pass, he starts listening to 'gangsta rap'. This throws him completely off track by rhyming about shit that he could never relate to let alone do. He put out a 4 song sampler in 2003, which included the songs, "Ragz 2 Richez", "Tha Rath", "Yellow Belly", and "Aint Nuttin 2 Me". There were many positive reviews, some said he was too montone. Searching through purevolume.com one day at school, he comes across another local rapper named Forgie. He gets Forgie's sn and contacts him the same day. They have much in common and Forgie asks him if he wants to chill sometime that weekend. That moment would forever change this boy's way of thinking. Forgie shows him that in order for people to like wut u spit, you need to rhyme about shit that people can relate to. Time progresses, rhyme schemes get tighter, and this boy now has a much better flow than before. A truly cruel mistake had occurred that made Forgie and this boy to seperate for a short period of time. During this point of time, the musical part of him had basically shut down. Many months go by, this boy apologizes to Forgie and the alliance forms again. In corporation wid that as well, he also joins forces with a long time friend and class mate aka Pete Rich. They work on tracks such as, "How We Roll", "Another Job Another Day", "Livin'" as well as many others. Meeting King Cutta was a huge step forward as well. Recording "Massterz Of Tha Universe", "Bitches", "Political Warfare", Tha J.E.D.'s first NEW single entitled "Down 4 Suntin" and many more. Arriving to Forgies house just a few months after the reunion, Tha J.E.D., King Cutta, and Forgie form an unstoppable trio to make a remix to "Massterz Of Tha Universe" ft. Forgie. Burnt out, exhausted, and pissed off, Jed asks Forgie if he can record one more track. Forgie obliges throwing on tha "Whole City Behind Us" beat from the boost mobile commercial. Thrown together to form his own track entitled "Where Im At". Continue to write every day, Jed then stumbles across another local MC by the name of ENCRyPTED. With the help of him, They form what you know today as NORTHERN SOUND ENT. You cant escape the sound, and we are puttin MASSACHUSETTS on tha fuckin map. Im gonna leave you with something that I believe has two meanings. "Peace" could mean Hello or Goodbye, because as we all know, if you've seen How High, Method Man states that it can be used interjectionally. But what if Peace had another meaning to it.. Politicianz Eventually Alwayz Corrupt Everything? Perhaps....?
