As of now, I am the single member of Terreta. The music is fairly heavy, and the lyrics mainly come from emotional times. The song on this site was something that I recorded in a little under 3 hours. I was visiting Michigan and didn't have much time to get everything mixed right. Most parts were done in one or 2 takes, so the quality is not the greatest. Hopefully when I get back from Iraq, i'll have more time to work on my music. The song has been retired from the charts. Once I can re-record it, the original will be deleted from the site. It does not represent how I want the song to be heard properly. I will leave it up for now, however, just for mild amusement.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I've only played live with my old band Odium, but they wanted me to do my vocals in a higher pitch and with a lot more melody....needless to say, we aren't together anymore.
Your musical influences
My vocal style is my own...I try not to compare it to others. It's a mixture of rage and emotion, nails dragged through gravel and a calm lake.
What equipment do you use?
I have a simple PA system, a vocal processor, an Ibanez soundgear 5 string, a Yamama DJX-IIB, an ADAT recorder, and Cakewalk Pro Audio 9. Other instruments are available, but not mine.
Anything else?
Like I said before, I try not to compare my vocal style to others, but if I had to say something, the heavy parts are in the same vein of Chimaira and Dry Kill Logic, and the melodic parts of reminiscent of Motograter/Ghost Machine and Ultraspank/Lo-Pro
