Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I have been playing electric guitar since 1971. I played a Les Paul until 2001, then switched to Strats.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have not played out live in a while.
Your musical influences
My main influences are Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Others are, sort of in order of appearance in my life: Terry Kath, Mark Farner, Robin Trower, Alex Lifeson, Ritchie
Blackmore, Ted Nugent, Pat Travers, Mel Galley, and probably some others I can't remember right now.
What equipment do you use?
Currently I use a Jimmie Vaughan Strat. I took out the Tex-Mex pickups and installed Fender Custom Shop '69s. My amp is a vintage '65 Vibro Champ. I mostly like to play just straight into the amp, but I also have a Bad Monkey, Fulltone Mini Dejavibe, and Maxon AD900 analog delay.
