Hi everyone. Were a five piece band who love writing songs and doing gigs. We have just made our first album which is very exciting for us. We have been told were a cross between the Counting crows and Tracy Chapman but you can decide for yourselves.

Terrapin Trainstation was formed in early 2003 by Dave Godfrey & Ben Hutchinson as a two piece acoustic band. The band now consists of Dave Godfrey: Vocals & Harmonica, Ben Hutchinson: Rhythm & Classical guitar, Rob Blay: Lead Guitar, Kev Cooke on Bass and Pete Hart on drums. Early 2005 we recorded our debut album Love with a hint of soul which was a labour of love but is now finally how we want our melodic sound to be received. Within the first five months we sold around 200 copies of our album and early 2005 our song Free (for the moment) reached number three in the rock3 radio websites play list chart, charting above Funeral For A Friend and Oasis. We are currently in the process of writing and recording the (dreaded) second album which although was originally a daunting task, is now proving to be progressing well. This album is going to be more musically experimental than our debut but at the same time will not steer away too far from our roots. In the mean time we have just recorded a four track E.P. Evolved which consists of two new and two old tracks re-recorded.
