Our noise is unlike any other out there. Layers of sound converge to form an obscene whole. We also run a makeshift production company/label. We send free new releases from this band every couple of months... All you have to do is sign up for the mailing list.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Captain Cephlapod and Gestapo Post Mortem joined forces for the 1st time in 2001 in an effort to create an experimental noise project that rivalled all other noise. Through the years the recordings and live shows have been few and far between. But we are back now and with a vengeance.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play live whenever anyone will let us, wherever anyone will let us. We have been kicked out of several places due to the epic spectacle that is our live show.
Your musical influences
Film, black comedy, horror, comic books, random objects, static, feedback, porno, distortion, TV, random sounds.
What equipment do you use?
We use a variety of different things: 4-track tape recorders, 5-string basses, six string guitars, multiple distortion pedals, delay and flanger pedals, cheap karaoke mics, tongs, butcher knives, reel to reels, DVD and porno collections, TVs, ebows, several amps, and a variety of chords and cables.
