Templeball
This band ain't about any more, but the songs are good and deserve more recognition than they have received. If you like these tunes, then check out This Black Static and Happy As Larry.

Templeball are the classic five piece band with sound that will inspire the millenium generation. Formed three years ago by lead guitarist Edd and bass player Al as "something to do", they started learning Oasis covers but soon becomed bored. So Chris and Stu were brought in on rhythm guitar and drums respectively. Not long after this they met up with Mark and Templeball was born. Templeball continued to write and mature and played many gigs along the south coast of England and eventually made their London debut at The Rock Garden on 27th July 1998. They carried on writing and gigging tirelessly and in December 1998 got some recording time at a small, personal studio in Guildford. Once they had recorded some songs the interest really started. Con men, managers, promoters and labels have all show interest. And all the while, more tapes were being heard and more interest was being developed. But alas, still no deal. You see, as i write this, Templeball no longer have a drummer so the private industry showcases have had to be postponed. And while the band scour their local music scene for drummers, more songs are being written. Classic songs that i can't wait for them to record. The songs on offer here vary in style whilst remaining stylish. The definitive Templeball sound can be heard running through the veins of these compositions. And, after a couple of listens they will take a hold on you like heroin holdds a junkie. Your next listen will be your next fix. You'll end up needing more and more and more....
