Tempest (philippines)

HAIL METALHEADS!!!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The band, TEMPEST, is composed of the remaining members of a Cavite-based band, Dark Days of Mary. They were only formed just this March of 2004. Irish (drummer of BIKTIMA), who then, sessions for this band playing bass, was finally recruited to be the permanent bassist of this group. Before Joseph joined the band, They seek first the services of Paul (drummer of KATOLIKO) to do the drumming duties. But before this, He still has prior commitments to his other band, so he left. But before he left, He lends them another drummer, Joseph. Also a friend and a sound technician in the studio were they used practice, He later on joined the band to complete the present line-up and continue what Paul had left. He also plays for another cavite-based band named SOUND METHOD at present time. Tempest seeks to reach a higher level of maturity both in lyrics and sound. They looked upon their music as a form of escapism in which they seem to escape from reality. In addition to that, their appreciation in music grew even to a broader level of appreciation. Their influences consists of so many genres, ranging from different kinds of metal, as so to speak. Tempest's sound can be defined as a combination of elements form the dark, brutal and melodic kind which are fueled by lyrics that are derived from the feelings of hate, jealousy, anguish, confusion, honesty, blasphemy, faith and judgement of one's self among others. The band have played a couple of times around some parts of the metro and also in some parts of cavite.
