Telescope is a solo experimental endeavor created by Pittsburgh-based singer/songwriter Joe Arduini. The idea was to be as fresh as possible while still containing beautiful melodies and catchy pop sensibilities in the music. Multi-layered guitars blended with emotional, well-thought lyrics. While the idea itself is nothing extraordinarily new, Telescope hopes to make an impact on people who take pride in their search for intelligent and spacious rock. There is not a band, but I started working on songs for Telescope in the Fall of 2003 just after leaving a local Pittsburgh band named Ira due to my need to create music that reflected more of myself and my influences.Your musical influences
From a listener standpoint, my influences range far and wide with many radio-friendly bands and many more not-so-well knowns. But artisticly, here's a list of some of the musicians that had an impact on what I'm doing now:
