Teh Revolt
This band was created out of boredom in my room and has grown to something much greater than humanity itself.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Teh Revolt started in the summer of 2005 when I was sitting in my room, with nothing to and recorded 'Anarchist Song', 'Capatalists Are Babies', 'Things to Do Before I Die', and 'Gimme My Weed Back You Pig'. The recordings were even worse than the ones on this site, I recorded them all with the sound recorder program on Windows. I had to keep pressing the record button after 60seconds of recording. Then I found Wave Pad.
Our first show was one week later at a friend's basement. I was very wasted and couldn't remember any of the lyrics or chord progressions. Not much has changed since then.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play any bar, basement, and bedroom that will book us. Our live shows have become notorious in the Chicagoland area and, as a result, many clubs won't book us. The most special moment was when I was getting a blowjob onstage while fucked up on vicodin, valium, vodka, and heroin.
