I am a guitarist/teacher for many years. I play mostly solo guitar in nice restaurants.Band/artist history
I grew up with Charlie Byrd in Southern Virginia.
I worked and played with the great Tal Farlow.
I taught the Allman brothers to play guitar when they were little boys.Have you performed in front of an audience?Mostly in nice restaurants.
Your musical influences
Tal Farlow is always my main man on the guitar. What equipment do you use?
I made my own guitar, but it is patterned after a Gibson Tal Farlow.Anything else?
I want to thank Bob Irwin of Arlington, Virginia for helping me put up this web page.

Wonderful playing and sound. Well done!
Mr. Conner I want to say first off that I love you music and style, and thanks for having a daughter that has patients I'm taking lessons from her now and she has helped me get my ear back. I had played for years and then drinking and drugs got in the way along with other things and had forgot the joy that my guitar had brought me so I picked it up again a few years ago and found out how much I had forgotten. I have started learning Jazz today and Diane made my day big smile all the way home she is great you taught her well thanks. look forward to meeting you someday.
Mr Connor - My dad was a lover of guitar and heard you way back in the early 60's at the Silver Bucket. I studied with you in 1983 for about 9 months. Every lesson was a wealth of knowledge and a pure joy. I have carried the things you have taught me throughout my entire life, and shared it with others. Thanks for your great passion adn genius. And, of course, I love your playing and your custom made guitar!! You're a true inspiration.
Nice
