Welcome to Detroit's Own Nexus Records! The artists on the Nexus Records label are collectively known as Team Nexus. We've been in business for four years and we've just dropped our fourth (4th) album entitled...The "N" Word. It is 16 tracks of bangin....rider music! The artists on the label are: Plan-B, D-Strong, Johnny Rocco, Savage, J-Con, with the hype-man L.B. and with guidance and assistance by Mr. Shane.

Nexus Records has dropped four CD's as of April 2004. Birth 2 Hurst, Birth 2 Hurst-2 (B2-H2), Entry-1 (Plan-B's single), and the much anticipated 4th CD entitled...The "N" Word.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes we do offer live performances...which is probably the most exciting thing about this entire business...the energy the crowd gives you is phenomenal. Our biggest moment to date had to have been....the tour we just completed ( The Off The Hip Tour- 2004 ) from the middle to the end of March 2004. Team Nexus visited 9 cities from Detroit to Miami...it was quite an experience.
Your musical influences
I'd have to say one of my biggest musical influences would have to be Berry Gordy, Russell Simmons, Sean "P-Diddy" Combs and Jay-Z. With me being the CEO of a record label I am really impressed by the success and influence these individuals have had in the music industry and just business in general.
What equipment do you use?
I'm not that technically proficient ( I just do the paper work..lol,lol)...but we do use pro-tools, tritons, motifs, mackie boards, and other good equipment.
