This is my page, I'm a member of Fo-net-ic-ly Spee-kin and this is basically where I'm gonna keep my tracks....
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
My sister listened to a lot of rap, R&B and Jungle music and she used to play it loud! I didn't complain because I liked it, but as soon as I heard Nas...I knew I loved hiphop. I grew into liking more variations (Wu-Tang, Redman, Pharoahe Monch, etc) and just grew.
I picked up a lil knowledge along the way and met some people (my crew) at school who loved rap as much as me. I then started to write cause I wanted to be part of the scene (I also branched into breakdancing, DJing, etc too). I got advice and tips along the way to improve my writing and content and then started battling online.
It grew further from this as I started to make tracks and entering tourneys and slowly built up my recording knowledge, with this my taste in artists changed (eg. Cunninlynguists, Demigodz, Tonedeff, etc) and now I'm looking to extend my game further and get my name out. Boring ain't it...
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Getting closer...gonna be hitting up some openmics and battles soon...
Your musical influences
A lot of the Rawkus cats (Pharoahe, Talib, Mos, etc), Nas, Eminem, 7L and Esoteric, Tonedeff, Taskforce, Mystro, Tame 1, Celph-Titled, Apathy, Braintax, Louis Logic, Cunninlynguists, Masta Ace, Wu-Tang, the list goes on....
