Hi! My name is Tato Schab and im an Argentinean guitarist/singer.
Just now, im recording some of my instrumental songs in a demo, in my home studio.
I started with this project about 5 months ago, though i meant to start sooner, cause i had been planning it for a long time.
So far, im pretty satisfied with the results and im looking forward to finishing it and start touring around the world.
When composing my songs, i consider many things. A guitar lick, a drums rhythm, a bass line, a places name, a movie or a simple life situation: anything can inspire me to start a new song.
When it comes to putting the song together i like it to have melody, then i try to brake it in verse, chorus and solo (if needed). Arrangements and details are left to the end.
Fusion/rock is the kind of music i play, though i never stick to a particular style. I always try to make it original, and to have my own sound.Band/artist history
Talking about my past, ive been in several bands, also ive played for some soloist singers and done some session works.Have you performed in front of an audience?When it comes to playing live, i like having good light arrangements that match the music style. I also like joining other musicians, jam and have a good time. I consider that interaction between musicians is the most important thing that a band must have when theyre playing live. I dont like those endless monologues, where you cant appreciate each band member, specially if theyre talented.
Your musical influences
My main influences are Gary Moore, Santana, Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck, but i also really like modern guitarists like Steve Vai, Steve Lukather and Joe Satriani. Of course, guitarists are not the only thing i listen to: i also enjoy all kinds of music and i always take something good from every song.What equipment do you use?
