TastyOther

Roxburghshire, United Kingdom
March 23, 2005
TastyOther is a solo 'artist' working with an over-specified studio and no talent. Many recordings were made on an earlier setup. Very little is sequenced or processed/produced.
Band/artist history
Born 1974. First played a Jen SX2000 in 1980ish, making helicopter noises. Never took music lessons. Recorded a song in 1997, 2 minutes of an 8-minute ambient track. Devoted time and effort to learning about studio technique, recording, and learned nothing. Continued to mess around with any instrument I can find.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Don't play live. One, I can't play any instruments, and two, setting up what I use would take longer than any gig.
Your musical influences
Depeche Mode, Jean Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, Atom & His Package, Robyn Hitchcock, Pink Floyd, Marillion, Wang Chung, Nick Cave, Tangerine Dream, 1980s stuff.
