Take The Sky
Take The Sky is a Post-Hardcore band that is based out of Lexington, KY. Our band focuses on the styles that our individual players bring to the overall sound of the group. The talent of each of our members creates a unique sound that still holds true to the Heavy Rock and Post-Hardcore sounds of modern music. We have recently acquired the musicians to take the roles we have planned on recording, and we hope to play shows and spread our unique style to the Post-Hardcore scene.Your musical influences
Our professional influences consist of A Day To Remember, We Came As Romans, Attack Attack, The Word Alive, Asking Alexandria, and Periphery. We are very involved in our community though and are very influenced by the local bands Oceans On Fire, Cascades, This Seasons Color, Faith In The Unseen, Leelam's Outfit, Gaelean, Satellite Giant, and (formerly local) Emarosa.What equipment do you use?
Adam: Gretsch Drums, Meinl Cymbals, Roland TD-6 E-Drums, XLN Audio's Addictive Drums (Triggered for recording).
Chris: Predominately Line 6 gear (Variax, Spider Valve Stack, Pod X3 Live), Fender Guitars, Gibson Guitars, Epiphone, BC Rich, Rickenbacker (Bass)
