As a band we don't feel we fit a certain category of genre, we have such a wide range of influences we can't tie to one so have a listen and see if theres something in there you like! We reside in Birmingham, UK.
Currently looking for a bass player and rhythm guitarist. All songs at the moment are home-produced and with electronic drums. Studio produced songs will come in the near future. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Formed by guitarist Niki at Aston University in 2007 with a different singer: Martyn Caddick. However, Niki and Martyn decided to form a different band called XXIST to follow a different style. Instead, Niki got Chris Davis who used to be singer/guitarist in Allucinere, to be singer in Take the Ride. Niki had played with Chris in Allucinere when he had to cover on guitar. So far there have been around 10 different members of Take the Ride but the current lineup will be the one that remains.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not yet, live shows will come in 2010
Your musical influences
wide range of stuff from Guns n Roses, Avenged Sevenfold, The Smiths, Danny Elfman, Muse etc. anything with some quality involved!
