Hello, my name is Taj Walton aka Mahal. I'm representing for the 46thlane. I'm a starting producer. I've been working on my music since I was 7 years old. I'm now in college, studying Music Technology at Bowie State University.

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I'm part of The 46thLane, a crew I been with since 1999. We've done alot of freestyles but nothing really serious until my partner Rozwell came back from school.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I don't play live. I am a one man band, what the music industry calls it now of days. My music has been presented to the public and they pushed me to go with as a career.
Your musical influences
My musical influences are huge. If you were to ask from today, I would say Dr. Dre, Jay-Z, Beanie Siegel, Timbaland, and many other. My most influences is Hiphop.
What equipment do you use?
I'm well rounded around music equipment. Today, right now I use is Fruity Loops, which helps cause I run a low budget.
Anything else?
I'm here to bring back the melody in music.
