I'm Synthia and I love collecting/playing/programming Synths.There is just me with my synths.The Synths are my band.I don't use computers or sequencers in my music.I like my music to be fresh and organic.I always play "Live".My Synths are Korg OASYS,RADIAS,Triton Studio,Triton Classic,MS2000,Karma,Trinity V3,Z1,M1,Wavestation ex,Poly 800 with reversed keys,Roland V-Synth,Fantom S,JP8000,D-50,Juno-106,Yamaha AN1x,CS2x,DX7.I had to sell my Motif ES etc to fund my new OASYS.I love the OASYS.It's the best.I recently added the fantastic Motif XS to my set up.It's a great synth.Band/artist history
I started noodling about with cheesy home keyboards many years ago until I could afford my first synth which was a DX7.After that followed D-50 etc.I was smitten with synths when the Triton came out,the rest is history.I appeared in the Future Music mag in May 2002 where they interviewed me and took loads of pics of my gear.Shortly afterwards I appeared on national TV here in the UK.It was the "Richard&Judy" show on Channel 4.They showed a small clip of my studio and then interviewed me live.I played my Triton for a few minutes.That day was fun but nerve wracking at the same time.Now my collection of Synths has grown alot and I still enjoy noodling around with sound.Have you performed in front of an audience?No,I only play in my studio.
