Aggressive Electricity Aggressive Electricity

Hard, high energy trance. Feel like some hypersaw synths that sound like they're going to hunt you down, then come after your loved ones? This may be the track for you.

Big Top Battle Big Top Battle

Circus inspired hard trance, with a swing breakdown to boot. This was a lot of fun to make. I highly recommend you listen to it.

Wisdom Wisdom

Not really Big Beat, but the closest genre I could find. This is Percussion, strings, piano and beats. Highly orchestral/soundtrack. One of my best tracks to date. Inspired by Clint Mansell, Rob Dougan, BT and my new drum synth, Drumaxx

Big Beat

Monument Monument

High energy trance. The world ends at 160 bpm.

Breaking Through Breaking Through

Energetic and percussive trance with an 'Anthem' feel. Soft slowdown to finish.

Trance

Synthetic Synesthesia (originally Synesthesia, for all you fans) was born with the introduction of FL Studio (then fruity loops) to mild mannered Dave in 2003, transforming him into one who would immediately capture the ears of those around him with terrible and painful collaborations of sound that he tried to pass off as music. These horrifying creations were the result of a lack of experience and the desire to 'make music, the likes of which the world has never experienced'. Unfortunately, even with these terrible songs, he failed in his goal, he realised after being introduced to noise/industrial, 'melodic' noise/industrial, and many other forms of electronica. It was at this point at which he decided he would simply make songs that sounded pleasing to his ear. Unfortunately, even with this new direction and incredible vision, he still lacked any musical knowledge whatsoever. Fortunately, to all those within hearing range, he purchased a big fuck-off set of headphones, and set about evolving his music into something of beauty. Something that would make one wish they were married, just so they could leave their spouse to prove their love of these divine gods and goddesses, created and captured within his music. Now, the year is 2007, and, while always experimenting with different styles, I have found myself sitting more or less in the trance genre, with a few mellow/ambient tracks. While I am yet to break up any homes, create or destroy a 'true love' with my music, I am very happy with the quality of my music, always looking to better my previous tracks.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No.
Your musical influences
Apart from everything I hear, I am specifically influenced by Paul Oakenfold (particularly his darker tracks, such as "Dread Rock") and too many trance artists to mention. Apart from that, lots of EBM/Futurepop, such as Covenant, Neurotic Fish and VNV Nation. I also let some classical influences creep in.
What equipment do you use?
Mainly FL Studio 6 on my meager PC. Also use a bit of Acid Studio
