I'm glad to see that you are using your right to freedom of speech, which - if I may address - is a part of the Bill of Rights, founded in our country's democracy. I present this statement in response to your song "Burn Bush." Before I go any further, I am not disregarding your ability; your talent astounds me... and so does your highly offensive lyrics. Our president is planting democracy in a country that knows no other form of government. To be run by a man you did not elect, to be forced into poverty - I cannot fathom that oppression, and I would never want to. You curse the man that is trying to take what our country is founded on (a democracy that has allowed you to even record a song titled "Burn Bush") and instill it within a country where FREEDOM is inexistent. If you are one to believe that implanting democracy in the Iraq is an act to "Americanize" the world, then I suggest you try leaving the Land of the Free and suspending yourself in enslavement, maybe then appreciation will arise. As you find the inevitable (and by "inevitable" I mean war) irrelevant and violent, you proceed to think that making Bush's "flesh sear" will resolve matters. Well, good job! Condemn violence then spark it! You did subtext your song as "hyperbole." To me, the extent of hyperbole can only go so far... and your song surpassed that mark. I am glad you can express your opinions, and I am glad you take a side in political matters. But, as you call yourself an American, try to subside your fury and have respect for what you are able to accomplish here in America without taking away our dignity by scorning our president... no matter how much you disagree.
