I don't have a band right now, I am just wanting to post my singing for the moment, as cover songs. I am hoping to receive some feedback. Please take into consideration that I do not have any expensive equipment to record with, only a cheap mic and sound recorder, etc... so it isn't going to be perfect. I will learn as I go.
I do not play instruments, I am just learning how to play the accoustic guitar. I do sing though, mainly country music, some light pop. So, it will just be myself singing cover songs and I will call myself the "Q" Band.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Sang with band in Missouri a few times and also with a country and western band in Atlanta several years ago. Nothing major, either filling in, or requests to sing specific songs, etc... I loved it.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have sang live several times in bands, I sing karaoke when I get the chance, etc.... but I do not have a band of my own. I would love one though. So, if anyone is Georgia is looking for a female country singer in Athens or Atlanta... here I am.
Your musical influences
Gosh, there are so many. I love ALL types of music, as well as male and female singers. From Fleetwood Mac to Reba McEntire, ACDC to Otis Redding! Just all different types of influences. To many to name.
Anything else?
Would just like honest feedback from my peers. Remember, I am not a Pro, so don't expect my recordings to be professional. I would just appreciate your honest opinion, or any good advice.
