Thanks for dropping by! I hope you enjoy my songs.
Band/artist history
I'm the band. Being primarily a bass player since '74, I found one can't write very much music via that instrument so I picked up a Synthesizer after my father's death to express myself musically. Digital recording brought everything full circle and I now have gotten back into playing guitar.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I have in the past. From Bars to Colleges to public and private parties, but those days are long gone...
Your musical influences
The Beatles primarily. They're the whole reason I had to have a guitar way back in '64. Since then, Paul McCartney's solo work has been a big influence in my musical life. ELO also comes to mind, as well as Yes, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Queen, Alan Parson's Project, and Harry Nilsson. I should also add that all the 45 RPM records from the late 50's - early 60's Top 40 that my sister left at home when she went to college were very influential in my early musical life.
What equipment do you use?
Yamaha keyboards/Synths. Basses: Steinberger XL-2A, Rogue Hofner Bass Copy, Bronco Bass, & '77 B.C. Rich Mockingbird. Guitars: Line 6 Variax 300, Drive WildFire X2, Epiphone Dot Studio, Alvarez AD60S Steel String, Alvarez RC20SC Nylon String. Recording: Line 6 TonePort UX2 into Magix Samplitude 11. Audio Technica AT2035, Marshall MXL 770, MXL SP-1, & Shure SM-57 / 58 Mics. A.R.T. Tube Preamp. DigiTech RP90 Guitar Effects Pedal & Zoom BFX-708 Bass Effects Pedal. Carvin & Peavey Bass Amplification - both are all Solid-State, man!
Anything else?
In memory of the feline love of my life (pictured here) for almost 12 years. The sweetest and most beautiful girl in the world, Puddin' - 1993 (approx) to May 14, 2010. You were yet another gift from God.
