Hello, we're an acoustic funk/rock type outfit who are pretty much your average, scruffy, usually lazy layabouts (sorry music lovers :).
We try to mix together elegant, simple acoustic songs with quite rockin funk type music.Band/artist history

The band start about late 1994. Pip came to Wishy when bunking off from a games lesson at school and asked him if he would come round to his place and play a bass line for a song (‘Cats eyes’) he wrote just to see what it sounded like. Around the same time, pip was trying forming a band called ‘Taradiddle’ and invited Wish to play bass. The band fizzled out pretty quickly but Pip carried on writing a song or two every now and then and showing them to Wish. Soon there were four songs, then six, each one better than the next and all being logged down in a stolen geography exercise book. This book, nicknamed ‘the magic book,’ became the centre of the attention for Pip and Wish as by this time they had set themselves the challenge of filling the book a song on each page until the book was filled.
And so on, and so onHave you performed in front of an audience?Yeah, its good fun. We play where ever we can. I especially love it when people throw things at us :).
Your musical influences
aw man -where to start... i suppose obvious influences would include the redhotchilipeppers, pearljam and countless acoustic bands. Our music lies somewhere between these type of bands. We also include some instrumental music into our mix- stuff like mogwai or godspeedyoublackemperor! and anything like that. They're big influences as well.What equipment do you use?
whatever we can find really. At the moment we're using Yamaha, Fender and Ibanez guitars and basses. We like Danelectro stuff too. I think our drummer uses a Premier kit, and as for amps, we use marshall and peavey as well as a H-H.Anything else?
