Summer Rose
Music to me is something very real, its more than just singing a song. I wrote this album for me and to give others an uninhibited look inside of me. Its very personal. There are several hard rocking tracks about my own experiences that will allow you to really get to know who I am. I also wrote a few crazy party songs for the album because having fun and partying is a big part of my life too!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
From the moment Summer Rose was born, she had music running through her veins. Having spent most of her childhood singing in local musicals and performing the National Anthem at various professional sports games, Summer really wanted to start playing original music. She decided to go for it; she maxed out her credit card, bought some equipment for a home studio and started recording some hardcore melodies and mixing in some rapping.
Summer caught the attention of music industry veteran David J. Holman when she came to his studio for help on her first song. Holman has worked with the likes of No Doubt and Olivia Newton-John, but was blown away by Summerâs talent and raw appeal.
Drawing inspiration from her major influences (ranging from Janis Joplin and Chaka Kahn to Rage Against the Machine and Eminem), Summerâs album âœBig Mouthâ is flush with hard rocking tracks and a few crazy party songs.
Summer is working with Ruckus Entertainment and seasoned music industry professional John Fagot to reach her fans across the globe and give them as much personal contact as possible. Summer says, âœMy fans are everything to me. I want to give them every ounce of energy I have.â
